The supporters of Giovana F C booed when Colombo A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Faydalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardinho Dantas made a kick off. Gian Weidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Dantas's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Ali Nejat Özertem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Arósio in the 55th minute of play. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Yan Cheng came free, but Ali Nejat Özertem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Narciso da Mata could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Ali Nejat Özertem however easily saved by the left post. Ricardinho Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombo A.C. made a substitution. Oséas Camargo replaced Alfredo Meireles. In the 75th minute Eusébio Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Özertem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Mendes in the 78th minute of play forced Giovana F C's goalkeeper Gian Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Angelsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ali Nejat Özertem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aitor Cintron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
