Wellington Pires scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sócrates Silva in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Hjortsberg. Carlos Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sócrates Silva in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Sergipano. If Eric Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Hjortsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Erdem Zekai in the 54th minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Carlos Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Mora came free, but Carlos Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra 04 VFC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after IGUIPORÃ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sócrates Silva took the corner. When Jaime Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the IGUIPORÃ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Moreno couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Hudson Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
