Colombo A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caskinha Esporte Clube the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 14th minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Luiz Eduardo Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Nejat Özertem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Ricardinho Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ricardinho Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Colombo A.C.'s Giovani Mendes got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Luiz Eduardo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Nejat Özertem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Baleren Acedo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Caskinha Esporte Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombo A.C.:s goal. The referee gave Colombo A.C. a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lauro Neiva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves. 3-1. A collision led to Caskinha Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gilberto dos Santos hit a great ball. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Neves having to make a save. If Ricardinho Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 68th minute of play forced Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caskinha Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The corner led Colombo A.C.'s Lauro Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Leandro Neves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Colombo A.C.'s attentive Manoel Alagoano managed to snatch the ball when Patryk Sikora made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Iván Zamorano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Nejat Özertem firmly grabbed it by the left post. Colombo A.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
