In the 16th minute Cássio Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lovro Gotovina in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Figueira SC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malin Koshkov in the 26th minute. The corner led Figueira SC FSCMZ's Malin Koshkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Leandro Neves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 32nd minute of play. Leandro Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Eduardo Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Simão. Luiz Eduardo Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Femke Bol having to make a save. Baleren Acedo hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Caskinha Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baleren Acedo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Malin Koshkov in the 60th minute really tested Leandro Neves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Malin Koshkov got in the 60th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Leandro Neves. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Guimarães got free with Leandro Neves in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Luiz Eduardo Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bebeto Simão hit a great ball. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Tróia. The supporters of Caskinha Esporte Clube booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iván Zamorano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Femke Bol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iván Zamorano ran back to his position shaking his head. Iván Zamorano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Femke Bol having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Iván Zamorano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Femke Bol was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 94thth minute of the game Iván Zamorano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
