Tiaguinho Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Kovalev in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dagoberto Dracena. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarquinhosEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sílvio Cavalcante was slow to take the kick. During this time Trindade Atlético Club's players had a chance to rest. Trindade Atlético Club's Sílvio Cavalcante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matei Răducu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute, Dagoberto Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Răducu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dagoberto Dracena took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Răducu. Matei Răducu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th minute Curt Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Dracena in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Mark Kovalev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Mark Kovalev put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tiaguinho Correia. In the 33rd play minute Dagoberto Dracena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matei Răducu. 3-1. After some careless play in the Trindade Atlético Club defense, Alessandro do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Correia. The Trindade Atlético Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Correia should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute of the match MarquinhosEC got a corner. Trindade Atlético Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Martini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to MarquinhosEC's Curt Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro do Valle made a kick off. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Dracena in the 52nd minute of play. Trindade Atlético Club made a substitution. Valentin Blomkvist replaced 于竞思. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Inácio Freitas replaced Alessandro do Valle. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Curt Montes. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Couto in the 90th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Iniesta hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
