In the 36th minute of the match, César Sampaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodriguinho Sousa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Pedro Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Albäck was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 60th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Jatsu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Airborne FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
