The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Fabiano Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ademar Fernandes. Ademar Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Damião in the 22nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Souto in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Relyn Futebol Clube's Raimundo Faria. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bizard FC's Dong Kun Yang was substituted for Raphael Souto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Diniz in the 54th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 57th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Gabriel Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Gabriel Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 73rd minute of play. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Ademar Meirelles replaced Walter Samuel. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gabriel Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 97th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Relyn Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
