Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 15th minute of play. Ronaldo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 19th minute of the match. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 30th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi in the 30th minute of play. Abel de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Luís Novaes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vista Alegre FC's Galen Kvick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Vergílio in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match, Abel de Godoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldo de Moraes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tony Schmidt tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Abelardo Maranhense. In the 74th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Clementi couldn't finish the play.
