Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Lara in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zézinho Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mané Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Iniesta made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vágner Porto. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Lara was the one to do the kick off. Zézinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Alessandro do Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borys Gruchacz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Mané Lara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões. Zézinho Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Lennart Khan was substituted for Didi Cardozo. MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas was substituted for Alessandro do Valle. In the 71st minute, Maurício Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alesandro Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Freitas in the 75th minute of play. Guilherme Joinvilense got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lennart Khan. Alesandro Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alesandro Coutinho in the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Donatello in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zézinho Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Donatello in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Simões saved MarquinhosEC from getting behind. Alesandro Coutinho scored 3-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zézinho Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
