Kjell Ennegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Popovici in the 17th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matei Călin to strike the kick off in the second half. Cornel Popovici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere.
