With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Bosioc in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Velloso saved Revolución Joao FC from getting behind. In the 28thth minute of the game Dinu Augustin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kjell Ennegren was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Aguinaga Casasola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aguinaga Casasola really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Youssef Malek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinu Augustin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
