San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. After 8 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Estebano. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mario Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Sesuldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. Mo Yi Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Romulo Abilio got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 33 minutes San Lorenzo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. AFC FUSION's Jan Hop managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gigi Penaru in the 35 minute of the game. Lino Rios scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Carlomagno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 53rd minute of the match, Germano Bettencourt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matias Carlomagno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Germano Bettencourt came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matias Carlomagno could save by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Abilio. In the 68th play minute Lino Rios came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matias Carlomagno. 1-3. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Freddy Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lino Rios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Carlomagno came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Rios slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 77th minute. San Lorenzo's Severo Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Lorenzo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gigi Penaru in the 83rd minute. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 85th minute of play. After 90 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Severo Santos. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Aureliano Karlo replaced Jan Hop. When the final whistle sounded AFC FUSION left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo.
