Carlos Kemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Catranides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Blai to maneuver through the defense. The Lugano con el rojo fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Lugano con el rojo's Guido Rocendo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Kemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Chabier in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Lugano con el rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Chabier came free, but Carlos Kemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolas Silveira got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes, Lugano con el rojo's Dionisio Sanduru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lugano con el rojo reached it. Guido Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás DAndrea having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Rocendo got free with Nicolás DAndrea in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Blai in the 25th minute of play forced Lugano con el rojo's goalkeeper Carlos Kemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Rocendo in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, Lugano con el rojo's Guido Rocendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás DAndrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fermin Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Guido Rocendo rounded Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 41st minute Eleuterio Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Kemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Kemen came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Ángel Gris's Eleuterio Chabier. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Chabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Rocendo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Chabier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Kemen, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Rocendo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolás DAndrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Mikelats might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás DAndrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Mikelats ran back to his position shaking his head. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Rocendo in the 60th minute of play. Guido Rocendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Lugano con el rojo made a substitution. Tomas Herauso replaced Elvio Manex. Lugano con el rojo's Ildefonso Gerazan was substituted for Dionisio Sanduru. After 66 minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nestor Cresitobalo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lugano con el rojo's corner Nestor Cresitobalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolás DAndrea quite easily take care of the ball. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Gaspar Chaime got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Lugano con el rojo's goalkeeper Carlos Kemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Catranides. Carlos Kemen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafim Catranides showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. Clemente Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Kemen having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Defensores del Ángel Gris walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
