Sebastian Rosen's late challenge caught a Säfvahöjden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Rosen to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth got control of the ball when Sonny Wallin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per-Olof Walroth. That made the score 1-3 after 63 minutes of play. Håkan Petersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Per-Olof Walroth made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Sebastian Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Olof Walroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonny Wallin in the 80th minute. Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Petersson in the 81st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Säfvahöjden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
