The supporters of Team in construction booed when • REGINA • was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Gabirels short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Cristo Lorenz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Gilberto Gabirel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristo Lorenz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Gilberto Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fu Sheng Jian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Ochoa having to make a save. Gilberto Gabirel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Cristo Lorenz 29 minutes into the match. Gilberto Gabirel succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Guillermo Ochoa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Team in construction's Fu Sheng Jian. But to his dismay, Fu Sheng Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. A collision led to Team in construction getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Isac Pop hit a great ball. • REGINA •'s Al Bundy got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Lorenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Gabirel in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fu Sheng Jian to make the kick off. Cristo Lorenz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Meng Chuan Yong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Lorenz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 84 played minutes, • REGINA •'s Rafael Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Lorenz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in • REGINA • reached it. Guillermo Ochoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fu Sheng Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Quiñones in the 89th minute of play forced Team in construction's goalkeeper Cristo Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
