Vicente Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The long shot by Gerardo Bernebe in the 54th minute really tested Ludomir Gleba's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Doro in the 56th minute of play forced lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Chiquito Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomir Gleba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquito Romero came out of the goal and Ivoš Petráček tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the AC Milan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
