Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kaplan's Abelardo Ledesma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Calisto came free, but Julian Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Victorio Bingen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Angel Calisto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Julian Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Arlo in the 19th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper René Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Savion got free with René Higuita in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. René Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bresikas's Benjamin Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Ledesma in the 26th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Julian Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Abelardo Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaplan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Ledesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Aurelio Herauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaplan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bresikas the free kick. Aurelio Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Luciano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bresikas booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Savion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but René Higuita made a huge save. Lucio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Julian Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Benjamin Arlo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Benjamin Arlo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Abelardo Ledesma's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julian Vidal firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Bresikas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kaplan:s goal. In the 64th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Mendoza's late challenge caught a Kaplan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Mendoza helped the player get up and apologised. Luciano Savion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luciano Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Higuita having to interfere. With his leg Julian Vidal managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Kaplan's Abelardo Ledesma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Luciano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaplan's Abelardo Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bresikas! 99 minutes into the match, Lucio Soin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bresikas's Julian Vidal. Julian Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
