A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bruninho Nascimento hit a great ball. Válbson Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Edgar Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Jacindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Restu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ceferino Restu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Restu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Fagildo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Edgar Sabóia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Fagildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Jacindo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Jacindo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Gabino came free, but Edgar Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Jacindo in the 55th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Jacindo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Augusto Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Kiko Neves got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Godfredo Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeralda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esmeralda AFC fully deserved thier win.
