Aurelio Jacindo scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Rosalio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Aaron Fagildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Rosalio. Bresikas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Fagildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rene Rosalio came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's Aaron Fagildo. But to his dismay, Aaron Fagildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Bresikas defense, Aaron Fagildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Rosalio. The Bresikas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Rosalio should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Rene Rosalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Restu in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Rosalio was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Jacindo came free, but Rene Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Jacindo in the 87th minute of play. Rene Rosalio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Jacindo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. If Aurelio Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esmeralda AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
