After 13 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anacleto Admon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Dominix was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Milian lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Saverio Dominix. After 19 minutes, Anacleto Admon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Admon to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Constantino Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Marcones in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Rene Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Marcones in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Oihenarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the game, Teo Arce landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Pedro Rojelio charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Rojelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Milian to make the kick off. Aquiles Oihenarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Telo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 53 minute of play. With his leg Aquiles Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when La Maquina 9-12-18's Juan Telo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Telo in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lucio Viator hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Pedro Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Urtsua got free with Aquiles Oihenarte in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Maquina 9-12-18 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
