Norberto Veronica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 14th minute, Roelof Wit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Austin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Cobus de Backer made a huge save. Norberto Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Bijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Romulo Austin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Bijl in the 29th minute of play forced ArrancaCerebroS AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cobus de Backer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Austin in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Roelof Wit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Veronica. ArrancaCerebroS AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roelof Wit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 37 minutes into the game, De tulpen SC's Marc Bijl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, ArrancaCerebroS AFC's Miguel Cordarryl got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cobus de Backer. After the first half De tulpen SC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Zoethout made a kick off. Romulo Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cobus de Backer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emiliano Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zoethout in the 59th minute of play forced ArrancaCerebroS AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Ramon Aalberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th match minute, ArrancaCerebroS AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rayman to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Veronica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Zoethout showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 77 minute of play. Roelof Wit hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. De tulpen SC's Cobus de Backer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Donzel in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, De tulpen SC's Fabian Zoethout made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Veronica was left in no man's land by his defense there! De tulpen SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
