The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Dominico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The coaching staff of Dominico F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luis Hunfredo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Baldomiro Oliverios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Jaunzuria came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomiro Oliverios slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Baldomiro Oliverios might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Jaunzuria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Oliverios ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Casimiro Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Ortle notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dominico F.C.'s Filomeno Jaunzuria. Filomeno Jaunzuria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filomeno Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Lopez in the 40th minute of play. Sebastian Gimenez's late challenge caught a Dominico F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
