Cosmos Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Dominico F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cyrus Crouch took the corner. In the 12th minute Marcus Maher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Miguel Beltre made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Jaunzuria. Dominico F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrus Crouch in the 19th minute of play forced Dominico F.C.'s goalkeeper Filomeno Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dominico F.C.'s Gonzalo Lertxun got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Cosmos Soccer Club's Cyrus Crouch in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Silverio Neron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Bruce Nesbitt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristo Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Thorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes Dominico F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyrus Crouch who took care of the corner kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cyrus Crouch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Jaunzuria came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyrus Crouch slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Cyrus Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Jaunzuria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Weldon Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Jaunzuria skillfully saved the ball. Dominico F.C.'s Filomeno Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Crouch in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Russ Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Jaunzuria made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Russ Thorne sent off a good shot on target. In the 74thth minute of the game Silverio Neron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Bruce Nesbitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Nesbitt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dominico F.C.'s zone, Russ Thorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Russ Thorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Miguel Beltre notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Dominico F.C.'s Filomeno Jaunzuria. Filomeno Jaunzuria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filomeno Jaunzuria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Russ Thorne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. Dominico F.C.'s Silverio Neron got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Cristo Eduino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cosmos Soccer Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cosmos Soccer Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
