After some careless play in the Scarface defense, Kauã Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Natal. The Scarface fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Natal should have stopped the shot. Zé Paulo Esteves scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Natal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Godofredo Iago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Kauã Lira made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Natal. Scarface's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 28 minutes into the match, Julio Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Coutinho. Futbol Club RRFV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Futbol Club RRFV's Egídio Dracena was substituted for Dida da Cunha. A collision led to Scarface getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Inocencio Gorri hit a great ball. Godofredo Iago succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 40th playminute. In the 46th minute, Tomé Martins made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Natal. Scarface's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Lira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Godofredo Iago notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Futbol Club RRFV's Otávio Coutinho. Otávio Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Scarface's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Kauã Lira scored to the left of an out of position Silvano Natal, making the score, 3-6. Silvano Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Lira in the 68th minute of play. Silvano Natal was a little too slow when Zé Paulo Esteves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 3-7. In the 73rd minute, Inocencio Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Futbol Club RRFV's César Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Natal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-8. After a rather tough play, Scarface's Aquiles Cilio got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Inocencio Gorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Noel Pombal hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Brito got free with Silvano Natal in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Futbol Club RRFV's Otávio Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Gorri in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Martins to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Tonete in the 94th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Otávio Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarface the free kick. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Zé Paulo Esteves got a free kick in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Gorri in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Coutinho saved Futbol Club RRFV from getting behind. The Scarface fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Futbol Club RRFV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
