When Iratze Canillas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Amazonas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratze Canillas couldn't finish the play. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SnapperHeads F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Lander in the 37th minute of play forced Amazonas's goalkeeper Francis Mallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Carulla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Clay Oconnell made a huge save.
