The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Mosbius Designs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Mark to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Bancroft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Arturo Gau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosbius Designs and the Colchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Arturo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Mark in the 13th minute of play forced Colchester United's goalkeeper Natalio Arnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mosbius Designs booed when Colchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennie Neville didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Mark in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Arnas saved Colchester United from getting behind. Erubiel Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tod Monkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Hipolito Herena made a huge save. Baldomero Mark scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Arnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Herena hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Mosbius Designs were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Laurendi in the 54th minute of play forced Colchester United's goalkeeper Natalio Arnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Arnas made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Baldomero Mark sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Tod Monkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Laurendi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Natalio Arnas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosbius Designs. Hipolito Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Monkman in the 68th minute of play. If Jonny Bancroft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Arnas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Mark in the 82nd minute. Tod Monkman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mosbius Designs's attentive Ubaldo Moise managed to snatch the ball when Hal Haslem made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Mosbius Designs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colchester United.
