In the 6thth minute of the game Dale Mcquoid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SnapperHeads F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tito Castillo in the 8th minute. The corner led to SnapperHeads F.C.'s Tom Lander getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Arsenio Erico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Lander in the 16th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Lander came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Lander took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Dale Mcquoid notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Dale Mcquoid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save SnapperHeads F.C. from getting a goal against them. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after SnapperHeads F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Higinio Barros took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Lander during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tom Lander struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Pepe Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SnapperHeads F.C.. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Lander in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Santoro saved INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Dale Mcquoid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Narciso Vergaray notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell. Clay Oconnell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes, Dale Mcquoid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SnapperHeads F.C. and the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pepe Santoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Mcquoid's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SnapperHeads F.C. were winning 1-2.

INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Candido Mincho replaced Fabio Victoro. The wind increased when Higinio Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Eleder to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes, SnapperHeads F.C.'s Tito Castillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pepe Santoro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SnapperHeads F.C. reached it. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Alejo Eleder got a free kick in the 56th minute. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Tom Lander got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes SnapperHeads F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dean Martin. Pepe Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Mcquoid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Lander in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Tom Lander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-2 became the score in the 72nd minute when Higinio Barros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Jaen in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Jaen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clay Oconnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pepe Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Lander in the 77th minute. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Mcquoid in the 78th minute of play. Clay Oconnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Barros in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro got control of the ball when Tom Lander tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute Dale Mcquoid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tom Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Lander got free with Pepe Santoro in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro got control of the ball when Tom Lander tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
