Pepe Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crawford Bennett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Lander. Gilberto Fiz's late challenge caught a SnapperHeads F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Fiz helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Dale Mcquoid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clay Oconnell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Solustiano went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tito Castillo who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute, Arsenio Erico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Lander in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With splendid footwork Tom Lander arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 33rd minute. Tom Lander succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. If Dale Mcquoid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SnapperHeads F.C. reached it. Pepe Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Mcquoid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oscar Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Erico in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Crawford Bennett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Santoro was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, Dale Mcquoid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SnapperHeads F.C..
