In the 21st minute of the match, Cauã Viana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Ugutz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cayetano Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Países Bajos's Camilo Artaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Osoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Países Bajos were awarded a corner.
