In the 20th minute Pombal 2003 F.C. were awarded a corner. Michel Toscano went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21st match minute, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Michel Toscano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaw Debowy. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustaw Debowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yuan Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Pedrinho do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s protests and gave Sultan De Inierry a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 minutes of play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Lautaro-Gabriel Viana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaw Debowy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. defense, Lautaro-Gabriel Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Debowy. The IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Debowy should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sérgio Grandi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pombal 2003 F.C.'s zone, Eusébio Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Gustaw Debowy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. from getting a goal against them. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Isaltino Esteves was substituted for Sérgio Grandi. Onur Candar came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gustaw Debowy could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s zone, Sebastian Zieba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Debowy came out of the goal and Sebastian Zieba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Gustaw Debowy threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Di Yuan Liang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Britto in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano de Lima saved Pombal 2003 F.C. from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Vargas during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Davi Vargas. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position.
