Matías Suárez took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Suárez in the 15th minute of play. Yılmaz Candar got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yılmaz Candar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingars Miders in the 25th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Lúcio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yılmaz Candar made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ioan Mavrodin however managed to control. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Marquinhos Filho managed to snatch the ball when Yılmaz Candar made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Suárez in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yılmaz Candar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingars Miders in the 44th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Lúcio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Macaco F.C. were awarded a corner. Hermínio Cavalcante went to the cornerflag to take it. Macaco F.C.'s Ingars Miders was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lúcio Miranda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ingars Miders sped through C.A Gryffindor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lúcio Miranda. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingars Miders to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ingars Miders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Lúcio Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A Gryffindor from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Suárez in the 53rd minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matías Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Matías Suárez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yılmaz Candar made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano. With an all-out effort, Macaco F.C.'s Lúcio Miranda threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingars Miders, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Guilherme Mazer replaced Matías Suárez. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A Gryffindor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermínio Cavalcante was slow to take the kick. During this time Macaco F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Macaco F.C.'s Hermínio Cavalcante to fire away a dangerous shot which Lúcio Miranda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Mazer came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yılmaz Candar got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ioan Mavrodin. Ioan Mavrodin got in the 85th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lúcio Miranda handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Mazer in the 87th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Guilherme Mazer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C.A Gryffindor were victorious despite being under pressure from Macaco F.C. for much of the match.
