Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Suárez in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Suárez came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Agua Santa's corner Eugênio Monteiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lúcio Miranda quite easily take care of the ball. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Suárez in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's William Luz got a free kick in the 15th minute. A long shot from Matías Suárez in the 16th minute of play was well struck, but Tomé Mota made a really good save at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Rosa came free, but Lúcio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Denílson Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Suárez in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Suárez came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Suárez came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Agua Santa defense, Matías Suárez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Mota. The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Mota should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Ramiro Passos got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matías Suárez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Karl-Erik Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Suárez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A Gryffindor's Tomé de Alcântara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jânio Arantes in the 65 minute of the game. Matías Suárez took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The audience was convinced that Matías Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Mota was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match C.A Gryffindor got a corner. Agua Santa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guilherme Mazer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Agua Santa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 87 minutes into the match, Guilherme Mazer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomé Mota. Agua Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Mazer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Mazer in the 91st minute of play. After 96th play minutes Guilherme Mazer shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Tomé Mota and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee ended the match the C.A Gryffindor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
