Shao Zhengs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Jorge Campos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Primatas FC defense, Ingars Miders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Čech. The Primatas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Čech should have stopped the shot. Primatas FC's Jerome Specht was substituted for Caetano Arósio.
