Fernandinho Barral was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Portugália's players had a chance to rest. After 8 minutes Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernandinho Barral who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Fabiano de Lima despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rogério Soberano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro-Gabriel Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martxel Palmer. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Pombal 2003 F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Senna in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando dos Santos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Thiago Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pombal 2003 F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CA Portugália.
