The penalty shot was made by Zé Paulo de Azevedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima. 3-1. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Real Brasil F.C.'s Fellipe do Nascimento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fellipe do Nascimento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Brasil F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fellipe do Nascimento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Gabriel Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luisito Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Real Brasil F.C. defense, Sebastian Zieba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Marinho. The Real Brasil F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Marinho should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Zieba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nilton Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Hermínio Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Pombal 2003 F.C. made a substitution. Giovani Furlan replaced Hermínio Moraes. Sebastian Zieba took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Marinho. Nilton Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Nilton Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Zieba's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Sebastian Zieba notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Real Brasil F.C.'s Nilton Marinho. Nilton Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Zieba might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Zieba ran back to his position shaking his head. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Giovani Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Pombal 2003 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Real Brasil F.C. defense, Giovani Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Marinho. The Real Brasil F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Marinho should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Zieba's late challenge caught a Real Brasil F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Zieba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Sebastian Zieba got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 98 minutes, Emanuel Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasil F.C. and the Pombal 2003 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Pimenta hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Pombal 2003 F.C. were the better team. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
