After 7 played minutes, C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilton Marinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A Gryffindor reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 9th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jorge Lago hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Brian Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Marinho skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Guilherme Galvão could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Cássio Corinth however easily saved by the left post. C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus de Amaral in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Zé Paulo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus de Amaral during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nilton Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Real Brasil F.C. got a freekick which was hit by William de Alcântara. William de Alcântara made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Renato Nevares. After 34 minutes of play, C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilton Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Montenegro in the 41st minute of play. Nilton Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Montenegro went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Gabriel Mendes to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil F.C.'s zone, Brian Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Marinho came out of the goal and Brian Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilton Marinho having to make a save. Nilton Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Montenegro in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Montenegro. After 59 played minutes Real Brasil F.C. got a freekick which was hit by William de Alcântara. In the 61st minute Dennis Bergkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Lopes came free, but Nilton Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira was substituted for Marquinhos Filho. 80 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Mazer. Guilherme Mazers short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Nilton Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henrique Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilton Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Renato Nevares might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Nevares ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilton Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrique Borges showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Guilherme Mazer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 95 minutes into the game, Henrique Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Nilton Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.A Gryffindor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
