Theobald Manjon came out of the goal and Teodoro Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Manjon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Teodoro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theobald Manjon. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theobald Manjon should have stopped the shot. Matt Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bater Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Leonel Antunes threw the ball into play from the sideline. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
