Hortêncio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jesus Jardel in the 4th minute of play. CA Portugália were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Pindorama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernandinho Barral took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fernandinho Barral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hortêncio Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 15 minutes of play, CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hortêncio Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pit Bull hit a great ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pindorama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernandinho Barral was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Portugália's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CA Portugália's corner Fernandinho Barral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hortêncio Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, one of Pindorama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindorama. A sloppy throw-in by Davi Botelho in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CA Portugália's Norbert Tamulewicz. 28 minutes into the match, Mario Jesus Jardel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Jesus Jardel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34th minute CA Portugália were awarded a corner. Fernandinho Barral went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pindorama's goalie and right to Gombal Sierra. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pindorama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 38 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Qwinton. 40 minutes into the game, Mario Jesus Jardel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hortêncio Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Jardel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Davi Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Pindorama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Portugália were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Nelsinho Meira made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Mario Jesus Jardel took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Hortêncio Duarte to make any attempt to save it. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Tasso in the 57th minute of play. Mario Jesus Jardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hortêncio Duarte made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mario Jesus Jardel sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Mario Jesus Jardel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Duarte, 0-5. In the 65th minute, Conrado Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Qwinton. Pindorama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Barry Gunn scored to the left of an out of position Hortêncio Duarte, making the score, 0-6. 71 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Qwinton came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pindorama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Barry Gunn scored to the left of an out of position Hortêncio Duarte, making the score, 0-7. Barry Gunn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Hortêncio Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Douglas Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindorama and the CA Portugália players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hortêncio Duarte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernandinho Barral. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Gunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barry Gunn struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hortêncio Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Portugália. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Gunn in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Mané Bezerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pindorama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. CA Portugália's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
