The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Benedicto Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Cibran in the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini got control of the ball when Urbano Sagrario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Obano in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes Franja Dorada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Cibran who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Teobald Pyczkowski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 26 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Obano came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Milio made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidro Cordeal however managed to control. A collision led to Vila Industrial FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aleksandr Leonov hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Cibran to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Obano in the 40th minute of the match. César Boldrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Obano in the 55th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedicto Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Obano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Benedicto Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One of Franja Dorada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vila Industrial FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Venancio Hodei, was totally fooled by Vila Industrial FC's Dorian Valladares, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle sounded Vila Industrial FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Franja Dorada.
