A collision led to Franja Dorada getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Patricio Abajas hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Paolo Caradaro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 16th minute of play. Carlos Germano was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Urbano Sagrario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Franja Dorada defense, Paolo Caradaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Hodei. The Franja Dorada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Hodei should have stopped the shot.

In the 96thth minute of the game Alfonso Palban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Atlanta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Franja Dorada.
