Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rogério Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Sousa in the 18th minute of play. Dobromir Zagrodny scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogério Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Chico de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Zagrodny in the 35th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Rogério Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Chico de Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogério Pinho, 3-0. Dobromir Zagrodny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Rogério Pinho made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Cruz in the 45th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Rogério Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Aguiar got free with Dalmo Saldanha in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Olympique Deleon's Johan Cruijff got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 57 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Chico de Sousa. With a little luck, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha got control of the ball when Eurico Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Olympique Deleon defense, Chico de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Pinho. The Olympique Deleon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Pinho should have stopped the shot. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique Deleon's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Cruijff. Rogério Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval de Queirós in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Luís Fábio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Marcel Veiga replaced Durval de Queirós. In the 75th match minute, Olympique Deleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Dominik Szoboszlai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Pinho skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Xu Li Sang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rogério Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Li Sang in the 87th minute of play. David Puyol's late challenge caught a Olympique Deleon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Puyol helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Jovens Democratas MZC were the better team. Jovens Democratas MZC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
