Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Cabezon in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Lips prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Romero in the 6th minute of play. Andreas Lips made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 7th minute. Andreas Lips took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Cannata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Senen Tartales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andreas Lips in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andreas Lips made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Brito in the 18th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Brito came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Salgado in the 21st minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Montevideo's Leandro Brito in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalie prevented a goal. Jardel Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Andreas Lips made a huge save. Andreas Lips came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon. But to his dismay, Jardel Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Andreas Lips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Jardel Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Leandro Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José-Luis Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Montevideo's Andreas Lips got control of the ball when Jardel Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line.

José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Andreas Lips showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Jano Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Lips narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EoDu Uai Sôccer were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Montevideo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Senen Tartales took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montevideo's goalie and right to Demetrio Cannata. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montevideo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Demetrio Cannata scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Lips, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. EoDu Uai Sôccer made a substitution. Erivaldo Pernambucano replaced Demetrio Cannata. Montevideo's Andreas Lips played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Pernambucano in the 86th minute of play. Kléberson Romero took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José-Luis Chilavert. José-Luis Chilavert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Montevideo's Andreas Lips played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Marcelo Chabier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. EoDu Uai Sôccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
