Andreas Lips was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wágner Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulk Fenomeno made a kick off. Melquiades Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Brito's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Kléberson Romero hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Montevideo's Andreas Lips proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Montevideo's Andreas Lips got control of the ball when Hulk Fenomeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andreas Lips made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ulysses Paiva sent off a good shot on target. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edmundo Valle shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andreas Lips but with some difficulty. Andreas Lips took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genko Balevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Montevideo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's performance. The match ended with a win for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA.
