Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Lucas got the match started through his kick off. André Luiz Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Donato Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal and Donato Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lucas in the 9th minute of play. When Nilson Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Independente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Duarte couldn't finish the play. Nilson Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hudson Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nilson Duarte struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independente FC. 29 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lucas in the 33rd minute of the match. Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 37th minute of play. When Raí Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Independente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Prestes couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Nilson Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sérgio de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when André Luiz Vides made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Raí Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nilson Duarte who took care of the corner kick. Independente FC's Nilson Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64thth minute of the game Fernando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, André Luiz Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Lucas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Independente FC's Fernando Lucas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie prevented a goal. André Luiz Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nilson Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Donato Marques got a free kick in the 95th minute. Independente FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
