An unexpectedly hard shot by Deen Castronovo in the 4th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Catarinense scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Paulo Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deen Castronovo in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Joel Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Catarinenses short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Pedro Paulo Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chucky Norriss short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Pedro Paulo Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Paulo Penha stood somewhat misplaced when Chucky Norris came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Pedro Paulo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ogro F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Joel Catarinense scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Paulo Penha, making the score, 3-0. Pedro Paulo Penha was a little too slow when Joel Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. Galo do Japi's Fernandinho Botelho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gualter Arce in the 35 minute of the game. Pedro Paulo Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chucky Norris in the 38th minute. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Catarinense in the 43rd minute of play. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Burr in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Ogro F.C.'s Mario Duplantier was substituted for Alexandre Aposan. The wind increased when Chucky Norris made the kick off in the second half. The Galo do Japi fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Galo do Japi's Chucky Norris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gualter Arce hit a great ball. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chucky Norris in the 58th minute of play. When Gernando Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo do Japi's protests and gave Gernando Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gernando Gomes hit a great ball. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Burr, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte Caca-Rato during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Arce to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Pedro Paulo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gualter Arce hit a great ball. Joel Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Chucky Norris made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deen Castronovo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Delfim Chaves made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Laerte Caca-Rato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Joel Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galo do Japi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ogro F.C. for a fine match.
