Hu Zhen Hong was a little too slow when Eurico Viana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Lopes in the 16th minute of play. Richard-Dean Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Velloso in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Nonatos United were awarded a corner. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri went to the cornerflag to take it. 23 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Hu Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eurico Viana could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Hu Zhen Hong however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Viana in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hu Zhen Hong saved A A Arizona from getting behind. Hu Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nonatos United's Eurico Viana. But to his dismay, Eurico Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nilson Hoffmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard-Dean Textex. Nonatos United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eurico Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hu Zhen Hong having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Viana got free with Hu Zhen Hong in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hu Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Eurico Viana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hu Zhen Hong. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Viana in the 54th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Paiva came free, but Richard-Dean Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. A A Arizona's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nonatos United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hu Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Nonatos United's Téo da Silva. But to his dismay, Téo da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 88th match minute, Nonatos United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Lopes came free, but Richard-Dean Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo da Silva struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hu Zhen Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nonatos United. Nonatos United's João Pedro de Amaral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luiz Paulo de Queirós in the 95 minute of the game.
