If Remo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Moreno came free, but Delfim Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Remo Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Chaves. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Gallucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Catarinense. Braga Junior FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio Lain in the 25th minute. The corner led Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain to fire away a dangerous shot which Delfim Chaves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Braga Junior FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Galo do Japi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Lain took the corner. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo do Japi's Zeca Caca-Rato managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Witold Turacki in the 33 minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Emilio Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvinho Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chucky Norris made a great header on Galo do Japi's corner, it was just that Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga managed to reach the ball for a save. After 44 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Witold Turacki. When Braga Junior FC's Remo Moreno in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galo do Japi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Moreno to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Moreno made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Remo Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Delfim Chaves however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Delfim Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chucky Norris came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chucky Norris went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Silvinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucky Norris in the 81st minute of play. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Lain came free, but Delfim Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Catarinense in the 90th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Delfim Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Braga Junior FC's Remo Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Braga Junior FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galo do Japi.
