When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Deen Castronovo sped through A A Arizona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hu Zhen Hong. After 22 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Aposan. In the 23rd match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Penha having to interfere. Gualter Arce hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Manuel Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Alfredo Lopes took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Paulo Penha. Pedro Paulo Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 46 minutes, Clive Burr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ogro F.C. and the A A Arizona players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Ogro F.C.'s Mario Duplantier was substituted for Alexandre Aposan. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deen Castronovo in the 53rd minute of play. Manuel Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Penha made a huge save. With a little luck, Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha got control of the ball when Manuel Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Paiva came free, but Pedro Paulo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deen Castronovo in the 84th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Jorge Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Jacinto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Montagner came free, but Hu Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ogro F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while A A Arizona had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
