After 15 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Pio. Doni Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Eger got free with Severiano Santo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Filomeno Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Montae in the 30th minute of the match. Severiano Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Eger in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anier Fernado hit a great ball. The long shot by Marcelo Eger in the 37th minute really tested Severiano Santo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Eger. When Francisco Medina came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Medina couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Marcelo Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Santo. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, Mauro Sarmento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Santo. Mauro Sarmento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Pio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Júnior Alagoano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Santo having to interfere. Francisco Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Ekhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 73rd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Júnior Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 84 minutes into the match, Júnior Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Santo. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Severiano Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Sarmento went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Marcelo Eger scored 7-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Santo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
