Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Ugla in the 29th minute. Carlos Carrio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Play 2. After 39 minutes Adrogue FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvaro Marcones who took care of the corner kick. Silver Play 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Ugla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Tono hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Damazy Boruta took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
